First I have to tell you this….

I (as you might know) study marketing economics at an AP program here in Denmark and today I got my grades for the last semester…..

I am so proud of myself I got:

Marketing and statistics: 12 (that is like an A)
Comunication and Organisation: 12
Economics: 12
Buisness law: 10

Avg. grade 12!

Ok, that being said…. Today I have joined yet another mastermind group… Of fellow students of Chris Freville… So social networking is my game these days!

I did this blog post and got some more Twitter followers.

To night I am going to celebrate my great grades so, I will take the day of tomorrow(saturday) Go and swim with my kids, visit my mother and stuff like that.

Sunday I plan to do a couple of articles and make some videos for my newsletter.

I was just browsing John Thornhills blog, and he did the same thing a while ago and it was quite inspiring to read, so I decided to do the same for you guys!

To start with I have to tell you what I did yesterday…..

Yesterday I joined John Thornhills master class program, I am very excited about this because I managed to get a huge bonus from Dave Nicholson as well!

Johns program is all about product creation, and he is an expert in this field. Dave in turn has promised his devoted help in the process and also to promote the final product to his list and partners, now how is that for a bonus?

Actually I have already started to create a product, because I am already a part of Chris Frevills program 6figures with Chris. Now I have a direct contact to all of these Experts!

What product am I creating? Well it is a secret for now, but it is in the internet marketing niche

What does this mean? I think it means that I am about to establish myself as a new guru one of these days

Ok, so what did I do today?

Not much in my IM buisness… I am currently a student of marketing economics and I have 2 small children (my son just turned 5 yesterday). In school we are in the middle of a marketing project, which take up a lot of my time! But I read my email, wrote this blog post and went through my blog comments… Thanks by the way if you have posted on my blog!
The last thing I will do today, is signing in to my Twitter software and get some more followers

I have been thinking about investing in a new Twitter automation program, if I do I will let you know and give you a review!

I am very exited about wirting this post today!

I have been working on a project for the last couple of days, and now it is live and readdy to take in orders….

Before I reveale what that project is, I want to talk about how I got started in the first place.

Here goes….

A couple of days ago I got not one, but a bunch of email for this new release of Niche Blue Print 2. Well I, for one, use HosGator to host my domains… I buy them cheep at GoDaddy $10, and change the name servers to hostgator. Why? With Hostgator you can get a host account from $4.95 a month that is dirt cheap. But I recommend you take the Baby Crock pack, that way you can host UNLIMITED domains from your one HostGator account, cool huh?

What else is cool about hostgator?

Well, when you log into you cPanel where you control your account, you can see all the great services they provide. For one, it is just a 5 click job to setup a WordPress blog using the Fantastico module. You can also easily put Joomal on your domain if you take that route….

Internet Web Site Traffic Course – Part 2 – Social Bookmarking

There are several ways to increase the traffic coming to your website. The internet web site traffic course is in 5 parts. In this second part we will focus on Social Bookmarking. You will learn about what is social bookmarking, how to bookmark, what not to do, how to get others to bookmark your links and most important why even bother.

What is social bookmarking?

In a nutshell, Social bookmarking is a method for Internet users to share, organize, search, and manage bookmarks of web resources. Bookmarks are links to web pages, pictures, videos or other content found on the internet.

Bookmarking is growing in popularity and if you really want to get all the benefits and generate internet web site traffic with social bookmarking, you should start as soon as possible. I know it seems like a huge task but you will soon get the hang of it. If you do not want to do this yourself, it is quite easy to outsource. You can even find software that will speed up the process for you.

Where do you bookmark?

There are a ton of bookmarking sites available, but I recommend that you start with some of the most popular ones like Digg, Reddit, StumbleUpon and Delicious. Make sure you at least do these ones. Maybe you can begin to see, that you can create a whole linking network, with these services. And what do you catch in a net? No, not flies, something better: Targeted leads. You can share whatever you want on these sites. Blog posts, videos, articles and so on.

How do you use social bookmarking?

There are a few simple steps you can follow to really harness social bookmarking.

1. Book Mark Your Links

Social bookmarking sites have a high authority in the search engines, this means, that a link from one of these sites gives credibility to your site. This, in turn, means your site will gain trust and a higher rank in the search results. Combined with article writing, this is a powerful tool, as we spoke on in the last part of this course. So of cause you use bookmarking on your main page as well as your articles. This will over time give you huge targeted exposure and explode your internet web site traffic.

2. Choosing the Category

It is very important that you submit your link to the right category. The better fit between link and category; the easier it is for people to find it. It also makes the viewer highly targeted, because they are looking in a certain category out of interest. Also it sends a wrong picture of you and your brand, if your bookmarks show up randomly. And here it is important to think about that what you are doing is actually branding, creating awareness and that is to be taking seriously!

3. Get others to book mark your links

Here we are talking about popularity. Each of the bookmarking sites has a main page where all the most popular links/bookmarks are listed. When people see a submission that they like, they can vote for it. This is done differently on each site but the idea is the same. The more people vote on your links, the more popular it gets and the snow ball effect takes over. Always use catching headlines that intrigue people, this will get you more readers. And most important, only submit quality, unique content. This will build your votes and your brand as well.

4. Read the rules and guidelines

Before using any social bookmarking site, make sure you read and understand their rules and regulations and use accordingly. You do not want to lose such a great source of internet web site traffic!

Get on Google’s first page

We have talked about getting targeted visitors direct from the bookmarking sites. We also briefly touched the concept of search engine ranking. This is a great benefit of using social bookmarking. I greatly improves your site’s ranking. As you know, Google ranks websites based on their importance, and the relevancy of the keywords used. Also on age, but only time can do something about that  If you go and take action on this information you will quickly get new pages indexed and all pages highly ranked. The above mentioned sites have great ranking and a link from any of them will increase the value of your page in the search engines.

Social bookmarking is a very powerful tool to increase your internet web site traffic. But remember without quality content it is a waste of time. You can’t put a price on targeted traffic, it is simply to valuable, and social bookmarking will get it for you. Use it wisely! There is no clear definition on Web 2.0 really is, some believe that there is a version 2 of the Internet, which the expression could lead you to believe. But I know, and if you dont right now you will after reading this post, that there is not a version 1 or version 2 of the Internet. Web 2.0 is simply an evolution on the net that has been growing gradual over time.

Actually I do not like the term web2.0, as it is misleading. But I have to use it, so you know what I am talking about. As I see it, Web2.0 covers most of the web pages that have evolved from primarily being one-way communication to a two way communication style. It involves the reader / user in some way, either by making comments, chatting, uploading files or videos. But user interaction is nothing new. Take discussion forums for example, they are by definition, pure Web 2.0 and they have been around for ages

When we investigate this term, we have to talk about social networks. Social networks are built around a concept where it is the users who produce the Web content.

If we go a little deeper syndication of content as RSS feeds and YouTube videos could go under that term.

So as you can see, Web 2.0 is not a new internet type, it merely covers the concept of user interaction.

YouTube [http://www.youtube.com] – Where you can upload movies, find howto movies on anything and connect with friends.

Squidoo [http://www.squidoo.com] – A blogging society, where you can create your own blog for free, connect with likeminded people and even monetize very easily.

Twitter [http://www.twitter.com] – A real-time messenger system, that lets you connect with thousands of people that share your interests and chat instantly.

FaceBook [http://www.facebook.com] – Like Twitter, this application lets you connect with friends, update status rea- time, but you can also upload and share pictures, homepages and much more.
